U.S. Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez calls challenger Joe Kent ‘a very weird dude’

Democrat U.S Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez and Republican Joe Kent will face each other again in November in the race for Washington’s 3rd Congressional District seat.

In an interview with KATU News during the August Washington Primary, Gluesenkamp Perez touted her roots in southwest Washington and was happy that people were standing with her in her district.

"It’s really encouraging to see that folks are responding and standing with me in the fight against a very weird dude," she said about her opponent.
