Fishers, hunters push for Owyhee Canyonlands to be protected area in Oregon

A coalition of fishing and hunting organizations are pushing for the Owyhee Canyonlands in eastern Oregon to be designated as a national monument to protect fish and wildlife.

Aaron Kindle, director of Sporting Advocacy at the National Wildlife Federation and Ryan Houston, executive director at the Oregon Natural Desert Association join FOX 12 NOW to talk about it.
