1 min read
Nearly 100 firefighters responded Thursday night to put out a three-alarm fire at a Northeast Portland business that recycles wooden pallets, Portland Fire & Rescue said.
The business also serves as a home.
Firefighters said the fire started outside the business, Mr. Pallets on Northeast 47th Avenue near Columbia Boulevard, in a large stack of wooden pallets, lit a tree on fire and then the structure, which, according to spokesperson Rick Graves, sustained significant damage and collapse.
