Oregon faces growing wildfire crisis with 31 active blazes, including five megafires

Right now, 31 large wildfires are burning in Oregon and 7 more in Washington.

Five of those are megafires, meaning they have burned more than 100,000 acres.

KATU spoke with the Oregon Department of Forestry about how this year compares to the years prior.
