Tropical Storm Debby to RAPIDLY INTENSIFY into hurricane before Florida landfall | 1PM update

Tropical Storm Debby has entered the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to rapidly intensify — or strengthen — into a hurricane before making landfall somewhere over Florida’s Big Bend region. At of 2PM, it was 130 miles west-southwest of Tampa, and 160 miles south-southwest of Cedar Key, Florida. It’s moving north-northwest at 13 mph.
