Christian Surtz, a filmmaker based in the Chicago area, has co-directed a documentary exploring the life and legacy of Carlo Acutis, soon to be canonized as the first millennial saint of the Catholic Church for his use of technology to draw young people to faith. "Carlo Acutis: Roadmap to Reality," now playing in theaters, follows a group of high school students on a phone-free trip to Rome to visit Carlo’s tomb. Surtz joined Sean Lewis and Jewell Hillery via Zoom from Rome on Sunday’s WGN Weekend Morning News to discuss the film.
