President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump head to Rome for the funeral of Pope Francis

Heads of state and royalty will begin arriving in Rome on Friday for the funeral of Pope Francis in the Vatican’s St. Peter’s Square.

The Vatican expects 130 delegations, including 50 heads of state and 10 reigning sovereigns.

Among the leaders will be President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy and former President Joe Biden.

Tens of thousands of mourners continue to wait hours in line to pay their respects and get a glimpse of Francis, who died Monday after suffering a stroke at the age of 88.
