Tropics update: Tropical storm or hurricane could form in the Atlantic

Tropical Depression Two formed late Friday in the Atlantic Ocean east of the Caribbean islands – and is expected to strengthen into Tropical Storm Beryl and eventually into a full-fledged hurricane before reaching the Windward Islands over the next several days, the National Hurricane Center said.
