Team managing Oakridge wildfires takes on other fires in the Willamette National Forest

The Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team 1 will assume command of the Pyramid, Slate and Ore Fires this weekend, on top of their Oakridge Lightning Fires responsibilities. The move comes as some crews reach the limit for how long they can be on a fire before taking a break, and firefighting resources continue to be stretched thin.
