Portland man linked to viral reckless driving clips arrested after he calls 911 to report sideswipe

A driver, allegedly connected to several viral reckless driving videos posted to social media, was arrested Friday after his truck was struck by another reckless driver.

Portland Police officers arrested 33-year-old Oscar Burell Jr. just before noon.

Investigators say they had been investigating Burrell Jr. since March 2025 after being tipped off by residents about his alleged social media videos. In those videos, a person is seen speeding, swerving in and out of traffic, driving through parks, hanging out the driver’s side window, and more. The videos were recorded in locations all around the metro.
