Oregon State University student sues DHS, ICE, Trump administration over revoked F1 visa

An Oregon State University student who has had their F-1 student visa revoked is suing the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Trump Administration to reverse the termination.
The lawsuit, filed by the ACLU of Oregon, Innovation Law Lab, and Nelson Smith LLP, claims the federal government violated due process rights of Oregon State University PHD student, Aaron Ortega Gonzalez.
"Without notice, the government unilaterally terminated Aaron’s authorization to study and work on his research. So we are suing to find out why the government terminated Aaron’s status, and to protect Aaron’s due process rights because the government hasn’t communicated with him regarding the termination," said Kelsey Provo, a Senior Supervisory Attorney with Innovation Law Lab.
