Could aurora be visible in Oregon, Washington? OMSI director Jim Todd on watching Northern Lights

Residents in the Pacific Northwest could see the aurora borealis, also known as the northern lights, tonight. A G3 (strong) Geomagnetic Storm Watch has been issued for Wednesday.
Jim Todd, Director of Space Science Education at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) spoke with KATU Digital Content Producer and Meteorologist Bobby Corser for an interview about how likely it is we’ll see the aurora, and where you can have the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
