Driver thrown from pickup, seriously hurt after hitting pole outside Vancouver, Washington business

A driver was seriously injured in a collision early Tuesday morning near the intersection of Main Street and McLoughlin Boulevard in the Arnada neighborhood of Vancouver, Washington.

Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2:40 a.m. and discovered the driver lying in the road about 15 feet from his truck. He was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, officials said.
