‘It’s embarrassing’: High school coaches take case for better pay to state Capitol

It’s one that resonated with lawmakers. They hope to drum up enough support to help pay the men and women who lead young athletes a fair wage, not the pennies an hour that public school coaches in Florida currently earn.
