‘It’s embarrassing’: High school coaches take case for better pay to state Capitol

High school coaches in Florida have pushed for awareness on how poor wages are in the state. This week, the Florida Coaches Coalition headed to the Capitol in Tallahassee to share their message. It’s one that resonated with lawmakers. They hope to drum up enough support to help pay the men and women who lead young athletes a fair wage, not the pennies an hour that public school coaches in Florida currently earn.
