Sheriff asks FBI to investigate jail ‘incident’ involving corrections officers

Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters said on Wednesday he formally requested the Jacksonville Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to help investigate an incident that left an inmate critically injured and resulted in nine Duval County jail officers being removed from their positions.
