Injured bald eagle rescued, rehabilitated & released back into Hillsboro, Oregon park

After two months of rehab, an injured bald eagle was released at an Hillsboro park. Volunteers with an animal rescue organization found the eagle at Rood Bridge Park on Feb. 2 with an injured leg.
The organization OCCRA, On-Call Community Rescue for Animals, followed up on a report that an eagle was grounded in the park. They captured the animal and handed him off to Dove Lewis Animal Hospital in Portland, and then the Bird Alliance of Oregon moved the bird to its Wildlife Care Center.
