Top prosecutor: Chief judge staff has to call 911 for help

Cook County’s top prosecutor says the chief judge’s office doesn’t have the people or power to ensure defendants on electronic monitoring are where they’re supposed to be. This includes people released from custody while awaiting trial on charges ranging from murder to criminal sexual assault and domestic battery.
