Nearly $300,000 granted to several tourism-related projects across Central Oregon

The money comes from Visit Central Oregon’s Future Fund, which raises money through Oregon’s transient room tax. The transient room tax is paid for by visitors who stay in temporary lodging such as hotels, motels, inns, and hostels.
