🚨 Update to officer-involved shooting in #boyntonbeach.

Police responded to a domestic dispute between a father and son on Saturday, April 5th.
Officers encountered 31-year-old Edenson Jules armed with a machete at Intracoastal Park.
Police attempted to de-escalate the situation. They say Jules did not follow commands to drop the machete.
Officers fired their weapons when they say the man charged at them, which is seen in dash cam video released by BBPD.
Per policy, four officers have been placed on non-disciplinary administrative leave until the investigation is complete.
