Tensions flared at a Portland city meeting as people were given a chance to voice their concerns about the proposed city budget on Thursday.
There is so much uncertainty, the auditorium at the Portland Community College Cascades campus, where the meeting was held, was at capacity.
In a last-ditch effort to convince city leaders, many spoke out in support of a wide range of items that could be on the chopping block.
The city of Portland will have to cut tens of millions of dollars to make up for the budget shortfall, which could impact all bureaus.
