Sunday market allegedly selling various drugs busted in rural Multnomah County neighborhood

Federal authorities busted a Sunday drug market in Multnomah County that court documents say had been drawing in dozens of cars to purchase a wide array of drugs every weekend.

According to court documents, the bust, first reported by the Oregonian, took place March 30 during one of market events.

A probable cause affidavit notes that federal agents arrested 46-year-old Kevin Jared Olsen at his home and his wife Kristi Olsen, as they were driving away from their home on Southeast Hauglum Road, in Boring, Oregon.

One neighbor who asked to remain anonymous because of concerns for his and his family’s safety said the market’s were being advertised as "Dank Gas Parties."

The court document says a search warrant served on their home located numerous guns. The document says officers then took the couple to a property they own on Southeast Jeanette Road where it says they discovered "multiple vendors selling controlled substances to include MDMA (3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine), cocaine, ketamine, LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), marijuana, and psilocybin mushrooms."
