FULL SPEECH President Trump unveils ‘Liberation Day’ reciprocal tariffs at White House event

President Donald Trump rolled out his set of tariffs on Wednesday, Trump’s "Liberation Day," to "Make America Wealthy Again."

He announced that a 25% tariff would go into effect at midnight on all foreign-made automobiles. Speaking at the trade announcement from the Rose Garden at the White House he also announced new tariffs of 34 percent on imports from China. European Union goods are expected to face a tariff of 20% when entering the United States. He also said a baseline tariff of 10 percent would be imposed on imports from a wide range of other countries
