Goldberg denies ‘sucking’ number into Waltz’s Phone
1 min read
Earlier this week, Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic and Washington Week moderator, revealed that he was added to a group chat on the commercial messaging app Signal that included senior Trump administration officials sharing sensitive information regarding military strikes against the Houthis in Yemen.
Questions have been swirling about how Goldberg’s phone number was added to the chat in the first place. During an interview with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on Tuesday, National Security Advisor Mike Waltz claimed that Jeffrey Goldberg’s phone number got "sucked" into his phone.
"I just want to note for the record that I did not suck my phone number into his phone," said Jeffrey Goldberg during this week’s episode of Washington Week.
