Suspect arrested after deadly stabbing in Gresham; Victim identified

A suspect has been arrested after a deadly stabbing in Gresham early Thursday morning.

The stabbing happened around 12:30 a.m. in the 20000 block of NE Glisan Street, according to Gresham Police investigators. KATU photojournalist Evan Bell says it appears to have happened on the Gresham-Fairview trail, which was marked off by crime scene tape.

The victim, later identified as 53-year-old Thomas, "Tommy" Ferrer, was found dead at the scene.
