City council thinks mayor is ‘making excuses’ over signing illegal immigration bill

The legislation approved by City Council Tuesday night that aims to crack down on illegal immigration in Jacksonville is now sitting on Mayor Donna Deegan’s desk, who said is still in the process of reviewing it before deciding whether to sign it or not.
