Authors, sisters on a mission to help children make better diet choices, live healthier

After her dad was diagnosed with diabetes, author Yvette Sims-Morgan’s love for baking took on a deeper meaning. She was inspired to write a children’s book called "Yvette’s Sweet Solutions," hoping to start the conversation around making better diet choices for children. Sims-Morgan and sister Felicia Russell, who’s helping with this mission, joined Jewell Hillery in-studio on Sunday’s WGN Weekend Morning News to talk about their work in helping children learn how to make healthier choices and eat in moderation.
