Portland police chief addresses spike in March homicides

The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) held an impromptu press conference to address a recent rash in homicides in the city.
There have been seven homicides in Portland in the month of March. Police Chief Bob Day said six of those were from guns, and one was a stabbing.
"This rate of violence that we’re seeing this month is unique, I want to emphasize,” he said during a press conference about the rising number on Friday.
