Investigations find administrators didn’t do enough to protect Hudson’s Bay students in Vancouver WA

A pair of investigations sent to parents Tuesday accused Hudson’s Bay and Vancouver School District administrators of failing to properly discipline a teacher accused of sex abuse.

In December 2023, 43-year-old Shadbreon Gatson was arrested and charged with Sexual Misconduct related to allegations that he had sex with a minor student in 2013. Charges were later dropped after it was discovered the statute of limitations had expired.
