Oregon’s tastiest solution to tackle invasive nutria problem

Save a swamp, sauté a nutria. That was the message the US Fish and Wildlife Service recently put out.
It’s part of a push to curb invasive species across the country, including right here in Oregon.
The founder and chief scientist at the Institute for Applied Ecology, Tom Kaye, joined ARC PDX to talk about Oregon’s invasive species, the harm they cause, and the “invasive species cookoff” he hosts.
