Vancouver Police pin driver fleeing in stolen vehicle after finding her, a passenger asleep inside

Police in Vancouver, Washington arrested two people found asleep inside of a stolen vehicle.

After getting reports of a suspicious vehicle, officers said they found the pair sleeping inside of a stolen SUV in the Dubois Park neighborhood.

"Officers pinned the car, which woke up the suspects, who then put their foot on the gas!" Vancouver Police said. "Additional units arrived to prevent them from driving any further."

Officers told the driver and passenger to exit the car so they could take them into custody. In video of the arrest, the driver is seen crawling backward toward officers who took her into custody.
