JFK assassination records declassified in what DNI Gabbard calls ‘new era’ of transparency

The National Archives announced Tuesday it declassified all records related to the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said in a press release the declassification affects a total of 80,000 pages that will be published without any redactions.
The National Archives is also working with the Department of Justice to expedite the unsealing of documents withheld under a court seal or for grand jury secrecy, as well as those protected against disclosure by the Internal Revenue Service, according to Gabbard.
