Political science expert weighs in on looming government shutdown, negotiations on funding bill

On Tuesday, the U.S House of Representatives passed a continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown that will start Saturday unless a funding bill is signed by the president beforehand.

Dr. Jack Miller, a political science teaching assistant professor at Portland State University, spoke with KATU about the ongoing negotiations between both political parties and how the continuing resolution could impact Oregon.
