Volunteer diver from California finds body of missing Oregon toddler in Siletz River
2 min read
Dane Paulsen, who has been missing since March 1, was found dead in the Siletz River, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
He was found by diver Juan Heredia, who is with Angels Recovery Dive Team. He offered his services to Dane’s family after hearing about the story, driving up from Stockton, California to help out with the search effort.
Heredia spoke with KATU News after the end of the search for an interview live on television. The conversation continued after the live broadcast segment ended, and KATU stitched the clips together here.
