Democrats in Oregon’s congressional delegation responded in a variety of ways to last week’s Presidential Address to Congress.
Some attended, some skipped the event, and some walked out after it began. Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley was one of the members who stayed.

Oregon Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, who represents District Three – including Portland, was one of the members who walked out of President Donald Trump’s address on Monday night.
She joins KATU’s Steve Dunn from Washington, D.C. on Thursday, March 6, 2025 for an interview set to air on Your Voice, Your Vote.
