Trump makes 13-year-old cancer survivor honorary Secret Service agent at Congress speech

A 13-year-old cancer survivor had a very special moment Tuesday during President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress.

Trump announced DJ, a brain cancer survivor, as an honorary member of the U.S. Secret Service and said the boy had always dreamed of becoming a police officer.

"In 2018 DJ was diagnosed with brain cancer. The doctors gave him five months at most to live. That was more than six years ago," Trump said as applause rang out.
