Madras wrestling team receives send-off for State Championships

The Madras wrestling team received a major send-off as they departed for the State Wrestling Championships in Portland. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office escorted the team from the high school to the edge of town. Four wrestlers qualified to compete in the tournament, which began today at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
