Portland’s preliminary budget released; city administrator, budget director share details

Portland City Administrator Michael Jordan is releasing his preliminary budget recommendations, a step in the budget process for the Fiscal Year 2025-26, and he sat down Friday with Budget Director Ruth Levine to discuss the background on the report.
The city will hold public comment opportunities and city council discussions in March and April, which will inform Mayor Keith Wilson’s proposed budget in May, the city said.
