Teacher accused of child abuse, attempted murder caught with her parents on Oregon coast

An Oregon teacher connected to a disturbing child abuse case out of Deschutes County was caught Friday after a nationwide search for her and her parents.

On Friday afternoon, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office confirms that 33-year-old Sarah Session, along with her parents, were taken into custody at a hotel in Coos County, along the Oregon coast.

Authorities say the U.S. Marshals Service helped with the arrest.

Session was indicted on 18 criminal charges, including attempted murder, and several counts of criminal mistreatment, assault, and coercion.

According to court documents, Session violated her professional responsibility by disregarding the care and education of minor children.
