Family mourns 6-year-old mauled and killed by dogs

It’s been the better part of a year, though it’s like time is standing still for one family.

They’re grieving the loss of 6-year-old Loyalty Scott, who was mauled and killed by a family friend’s two dogs in December.

“It’s like you’re watching yourself go through this Lifetime movie, you know, and it’s not anything you ever could imagine going through ever,” Rena Scott, Loyalty’s grandmother, said Thursday.

She said she likes talking about Loyalty because it keeps his memory alive.
