Dry, but cloudy Friday with a ‘Pineapple Express’ set for SUNDAY
High pressure will remain in place for most of Friday keeping us dry, but completely cloudy as a low pressure system approaches. Showers will arrive late Friday night from that low pressure, but not too much rain until Saturday and Sunday from a more favorable set-up. The morning will start off dry Saturday, but after lunchtime rain will pick up and continue through Monday as a Pineapple Express sets up for the Willamette Valley and much of Oregon. Temperatures will be mild this weekend with snow levels as high as 8,000 feet and valley temperatures near 60-degrees. By Monday night, snow levels return to normal at pass level, but sunny and warm weather expected by Wednesday of next week.
