Holden LeCroy: Slow, steady spread on area fires, but rain chances could help very soon. This weekend, however, is fairly consistent to what we’ve had and will be mainly sunny with temperatures in the 80s. Expect more clouds in the morning than afternoon both days with thinning haze, but patchy smoke in the Cascades/Foothills. A fall-like cold front is possible overnight Monday and into Tuesday morning and could bring light rainfall to the Willamette Valley, Foothills, but a heatwave likely returning soon after poses major concern. Temperatures show signs of warming into the mid-90s as early as next Friday following the rain chances. Active forecast, stay tuned for details.
