DRONE FOOTAGE: Medford school gym roof collapses under roughly 700,000 pounds of snow, district says

The roof of a Medford school’s gym collapsed Tuesday under the weight of heavy snow.
Classes at North Medford High School were cancelled Thursday as a precaution while experts assess the structural integrity of the building, Medford School District said.
According to the district, three beams in the building fractured under the weight of the snow at about 8:40 a.m., and the roof fully collapsed about two hours later.
No one was hurt in the collapse.
