For more than a decade, Illinois and Michigan have fought to secure federal funding to prevent Asian Carp from getting into Lake Michigan.
On Tuesday, a US Army Corps of Engineers project aimed at creating a gauntlet of barriers to block the invasive fish’s advance was postponed.
