Exquisite Creatures Revealed exhibit at OMSI offers artistic look at organisms from around the world
2 min read
Your opportunity to see a unique display of the beauty of the natural world is coming to an end, as the “Exquisite Creatures Revealed” exhibit at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry comes to a close this weekend.
The exhibit was created by Oregon-based artist and naturalist Christopher Marley. His art features rare organisms from around the world in creative and stunning displays.
“This exhibit is a bunch of specimens that are ethically collected from all over the world and then arranged artistically, so we can really see their beauty and really be in awe,” said OMSI’s Turbine Hall Coordinator Alex Mastanduno.
OMSI said the artwork helps inspire visitors to look at the natural world around them in a different light.
