Portland father charged after teen overdoses on fentanyl in his home

A Portland father is facing several charges after a 15-year-old girl overdosed on fentanyl in his house back in 2023.

According to new court documents, Hooman Tony Rahnamoon is facing three misdemeanor charges after officials say he "knowingly permitted" 15-year-old Lauren Dominguez to do fentanyl in his home. According to the documents, Dominguez had been with Rahnamoon’s son, who she was dating at the time.

After a court appearance on Tuesday, KATU spoke with Lauren’s parents and Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez about the case.
