Multnomah, Clark counties open emergency shelters amid severe cold weather warning

Multnomah County has announced that its emergency shelters will be open on Monday night and will remain open until at least noon on Tuesday.

The county declared a state of emergency as of 6 p.m. on Monday, saying no one seeking shelter will be turned away. All sites will welcome pets and be accessible to people with disabling conditions.
