Building relationships a way to reduce gun violence, community leader says

Dawson Park in North Portland by Legacy Emanuel Medical Center was once a park that Martin Luther King Jr. visited.

Today, it’s a park that is known as the park that had 70-plus shell casings in it. Two people were wounded when a car pulled up at the park and someone opened fire from within the car.
