Sunday Brunch: Soul Prime Chicago in Lincoln Park has Super Bowl specials — and much more

In September 2023, Soul Prime Chicago — located at 1969 North Halsted Street in Lincoln Park — got a huge boost from a visit by popular food reviewer Keith Lee and his subsequent TikTok video. Veteran restaurateur and Soul Prime owner Shonya Williams, better known as Chef Royce, says the restaurant has really taken off since then and is doing great today. And since it’s Super Bowl Sunday, Chef Royce joined Sean Lewis on this week’s WGN Weekend Morning News Sunday Brunch to talk about some of Soul Prime’s Super Bowl specials, as well as to promote Chicago Black Restaurant Week, which starts Sunday and runs through Feb. 23.
