A 65-year-old woman died in an apartment fire in Humboldt Park on the city’s Northwest Side overnight, according to authorities. Chicago police say officers responded to a call of an apartment fire just after 1 a.m. Sunday in the 1700 block of North Harding Avenue. Chicago Fire Department personnel were on scene fighting the blaze when officers arrived and discovered the 65-year-old woman unresponsive on the first floor, with burns on her body.
