Now a month into his tenure as Portland’s mayor, Keith Wilson said he is already tackling the city’s challenges head-on.

Mayor Wilson spoke with KATU’s Angelica Thornton in his first sit-down television interview since taking office. They discussed big issues on the minds of Portlanders, including homelessness, livability, public safety, and the looming budget crisis.

They also talked over his plan for the city, how his background fits into the picture, and what he thinks it will take to make the Rose City shine again.
